CARE POWER

Carers are the N.O 1 most under valued, under paid, under appreciated resource. Carers come from all walks for life and can be of any age, they have different backgrounds, different views, different cultures and different experiences.

At Beyond Abilities we want to be able to support our carers and give them a platform to connect with other carers. We also want to be able to offer our carers not only a platform to connect with other carers, but also the opportunity to learn from others about their experiences and get handy tips to help them plan for the future or to find resources and networks they didn't know about before.

Our Care Power Support Groups will be rolling out across Sydney in 2018 and to make it easier for our carers to attend, we will be running our Care Power Support Groups at the same time as our SAS Club so that the person you support can be our enjoy a social event while you are getting some much needed respite and networking opportunities.

If this is something you are interested in, please complete the Expression of interest form below. Further information about the group will be available towards the end of this year.

If you need immediate support please check out or Carer Support resources page, alternatively, contact us and we can put you in touch with your local carer advocacy service.
